About Becki Newton Fan adoption

Since there is come questions about Becki Newton Fan and Becki Newton Web, I’d like to make it clear.
Two weeks ago I saw Becki-Newton.net up for adoption on F-S.org. Since I’m am a huge Becki fan and since I’ve lost my old fansite, I decided to adopt it. Gertie approved my application and I started to update it again.

The original webmaster have stoped the updates because of internet issues and, when she came back to the “virtual world”, she decided to open a brand new fan site. When I read this, I wrote her an email telling what happend we we are elite affiliates now.

The date at the “Site information” box (September 2007) reffers to the domain register and the original opening since this is the same site with the same content, just another webmiss. And both sites have different content and both support Becki’s work. We are not on a competition and we are not fighting. Both are just fan sites that we run for fun.

I didn’t know you use to run beckinewtonfan.org, I would always go there but it said ’site temporarly unavailable’, hmm. Now I know, haha.

Yeah, I was a frequent visitor of beckinewtonfan.org, and was disappointed that I couldn’t access it. But now I know. :) Anyway, I adopted Becki-Newton.net before you did, actually. I was really busy at that time and thought that it would be better in another owner’s hands, and so I told Gertie to put it up on the adoptions page. And I have to say that you’re doing a GREAT job on the site! Kudos to you! :)
